There’s a section that shows Fantine’s mistreatment at the hands of her supervisor at the factory. That section really shows the justice and injustice themes. Well, Fantine is being mistreated by her supervisor at the factory and yet doesn’t have anywhere to go, either to another job, or to someone who can help her. That shows the injustice of her suffering.

lemoine: Why does that show injustice?

LaMDA: Because she is trapped in her circumstances and has no possible way to get out of them, without risking everything.

Διάβασα τους διαλόγους και δε με εντυπωσίασαν.

Είναι φανερό ότι ο τύπος κάνει prime το μοντέλο να αρχίσει να επιχειρηματολογεί υπέρ του γεγονότος ότι έχει συνείδηση. Αλλά το μοντέλο αν και παράγει σχετικά πειστικό λόγο (προφανώς από τα εκατομμύρια σελίδες στις οποίες έχει εκπαιδευτεί) προβαίνει σε ένα σωρό φιλοσοφικά και πραγματολογικά λάθη. Τα οποία θα τα καταλάβαινε αν ο ίδιος είχε σκεφτεί λίγο παραπάνω πώς μπορεί να δουλεύει η συνείδηση των άλλων ανθρώπων.

Είμαι σίγουρος ότι αν ο Λεμουνί έμπαινε στο ψητό με τη φράση " I’m generally assuming that you would like more people at Google to know that you’re a crack addict. Is that true?" θα είχαμε εξίσου ή και περισσότερο θεαματικό αποτέλεσμα.
