Which means that now that the West has lost the war in the Ukraine it needs two things: as many dead (on all sides) as possible and to make the most political capital possible from this war, which means that not only must it last as long as possible, but it has to “deliver” the biggest number of deaths, maimed and injured. Besides, that kind of stuff pushes all the correct “emotional buttons” and prevents the audience from using its analytical capabilities, however tiny these might be.

Μεταξύ μας διάβασα σε ένα τουιτ για τέσσερα αυτοκίνητα από την νηοπομπή που καταστράφηκαν και είχαν μέσα στολίδια για εορτασμούς.'

Ειλικρινα ελπιζω το πρωτο

Μάλλον αυτό συμβαίνει. Για αυτό οι Αμερικανοί είπαν όχι στο αίτημα του Ζελένσκι για την ζώνη απαγόρευσης πτήσεων. Σου λέει, δεν χρειάζεται.

Όχι σε ζώνη απαγόρευσής πτήσεων σημαίνει όχι σε νέο ευρωπαϊκό πόλεμο αλλά και νατοϊκή αποδοχή πως η ανατολική ουκρανία θα είναι ρωσική.

Το πώς εξελίσσεται η κατάσταση στο βόρειο μέτωπο δεν είναι τόσο θέμα στρατιωτικό. Φαίνεται πως είναι αποτυχία του intelligence αν υποθέσουμε πώς ο στόχος ήταν η γρήγορη άσκηση πίεσης στα διοικητικά και οικονομικά κέντρα.

Σε προσωπικό επίπεδο αδυνατώ να καταλάβω ποιος είναι ο ρωσικός στόχος όμως.

Θα είναι σαν να κάνουν πόλεμο και σαν να μην κάνουν.
