Μιά φορά είχα πάει στον ΟΛΠ στην έκθεση πληροφορικής.
Παρουσίασα κάτι προϊόντα από το ίδιο περίπτερο του οποίου έκανε χρήση και η Singular μάλιστα.
Πέρναγε η ώρα και μεταξύ τυρού και αχλαδέως έκανα βόλτα και στα άλλα περίπτερα, οπόταν πέφτω πάνω σε ένα περίπτερο αστρολογίας που πούλαγαν τη μεγάλη εφαρμογή αστρολογίας, 220,000 δραχμές μάλιστα.
Πάω στο παρακάτω περίπτερο που ήταν του "Computer για όλους" και ήταν φίλοι μου και τους λέω "παιδιά, το τηλέφωνο του παπα Τσάκαλου βρέστε μου γρήγορα". Αλλά δεν μου το βρήκανε.

In short, Adorno believed that “astrological ideology” resembles “the mentality of the authoritarian personality”.

People high on authoritarianism tend to have blind allegiance to conventional beliefs about right and wrong and have high respect for acknowledged authorities. They are also those who are more favourable towards punishing those who do not subscribe to conventional thinking and aggressive towards those who think differently.

In line with Adorno’s prediction made in 1953, people who attach high importance to obedience as a value (more authoritarian) are indeed more likely to think that astrology is scientific. This is true regardless of people’s age, education, science knowledge, gender and political and religious orientations.

Δεν ειναι λίγο μεταμοντέρνο να συνδέεται η αστρολογία με τον σύγχρονο καπιταλισμό με τέτοιον τρόπο, όταν σίγουρα χρονικά προηγείται αυτού εκατοντάδες, ή μάλλον χιλιάδες χρόνια;

Η ιδια η υπαρξη της αστρολογιας με την σημερινη της μορφη ειναι ο ορισμος του μεταμοντερνου, μια αρχαικη πρακτικη βασισμενη πανω σε ξεπερασμενη γνωση που εχει μεταλλαχθει σε εμπορευμα.
Οπως ηταν και ο πνευματισμος και ο μυστικισμος των σαλονιων της μοδας εκεινη την εποχη.Πολλοι μεγαλοι μυστικιστες επισης εξεφρασαν υπεραντιδραστικες αποψεις και εγιναν δεκτοι στους φασιστικους κυκλους.
