WWE ThunderDome Offers Fans “Virtual Seats” At Live Shows

Fans of the WWE will get the chance to virtually attend live events from SummerSlam weekend onwards, the company has announced.
Thanks to a set that’s being referred to as the WWE ThunderDome, the WWE will offer “virtual seats” to fans, and use footage of those fans – presumably streamed from webcams – during the broadcast of live events.
WWE Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn said: “WWE has a long history of producing the greatest live spectacles in sports and entertainment, yet nothing compares to what we are creating with WWE ThunderDome.
“This structure will enable us to deliver an immersive atmosphere and generate more excitement amongst the millions of fans watching our programming around the world.”
