citizens of this town, who for three years had practised sodomy together and were informed against

this for twenty years, that is with the cook Endressen, with Alexander, and others. The weaver was
first beheaded, then his body was burnt with the fruiterer, who was burnt alive.

Ναι. Το κάψιμο ήταν από τα χειρότερα του Κου Φρανζ, και ευτυχώς ήταν σπάνιο και το κρατούσαν για ειδικές περιπτώσεις. Η μυρωδιά της σάρκας, οι φωνές, το ότι ήταν υποχρεωμένος να κάτσει μετά να μαζέψει τα απομεινάρια...φρίκη.

November 6th. Magdalen Fischerin of Culmbach, daughter of ‘Black’ Merden, an

Fürheller’s house in the Kreuzgasse, and had a child by father and son. Beheaded with the sword here
as a favour.

295. March 22nd. Leonard Deüerlein, a cooper’s man of Kaltreüth, an audacious knave,
executed because he threatened and warned people he would burn their houses down. When his
sentence was read to him he said he was willing to die, but asked as a favour that he should be
allowed to fence and fight with four of the guards; his request was refused.

as a carrier of wine, because he and his brother, with the help of others, practised coining and
counterfeiting money and clipping coins fraudulently; he had also a knowledge of magic. His brother
escaped from the mill, and the Margrave locked the place up and confiscated the property. A certain
Zachariah, a farrier and ’scutcheon-maker, called ‘the heralds-smith,’ was mixed up in this; also a
file-cutter living in the Bretterne Meer quarter, called ‘Karl the file-cutter.’

He had a familiar spirit and was a lying knave. These two escaped. This miller, who worked in the town mills here three
years ago, fell into the town moat on Whitsunday. It would have been better for him if he had been
drowned, but it turned out according to the proverb that ‘What belongs to the gallows cannot drown in
water.’
This was the last person whom I, Master Franz, executed.

daughter, a girl who had thieved considerably and a handsome young creature with whom the young
Dietherr had dealings; Elizabeth Gütlerin, a bath attendant; Katherine Aynerin, alias die Gescheydin,
a blacksmith’s wife and a handsome creature; all three children of citizens, and prostitutes, were here
pilloried and afterwards flogged out of the town. Such a dreadful crowd ran out to see this that
several people were crushed to death under the Frauenthor. Subsequently Mary’s ears were cut off,
and she was hanged.

Δηλαδή η φουκαριάρα θα τη γλίτωνε απλώς με μερικές μαστιγιές και τελικά την κρέμασαν επειδή τα άλλα τα γίδια ποδοπατήθηκαν μέχρι θανάτου μεταξύ τους, πάνω στη βιασύνη τους μη χάσουν το θέαμα; Αυτό θα πει ατυχία ρε φίλε!
