Nasrallah also threatened Cyprus for the first time, accusing it of allowing Israel to use its airports and bases for military exercises.
"The Cypriot government must be warned that opening Cypriot airports and bases for the Israeli enemy to target Lebanon means that the Cypriot government has become part of the war and the resistance (Hezbollah) will deal with it as part of the war," Nasrallah said.

Following Nasrallah's speech (and the threat to Cyprus), senior Cypriot officials began a series of talks with senior officials in Lebanon last night.

Apparently, a high-ranking Cypriot official will arrive in Beirut today to hold a series of meetings with Lebanese officials and with senior members of the Lebanese army.

Hezbollah supporters are quite amused by the pressure the Cypriots are demonstrating following one short statement in Nasrallah's speech.

Yesterday, following the speech, the president of Cyprus emphasized that his country is not part of the conflicts in the regions and is not involved.
