China’s ultra-high-voltage power grid integrates renewable energy sources across the nation, setting a global standard. The U.S., with its crumbling and outdated grid, remains stuck in the past. 5/13

While China built the factories of tomorrow, the U.S. offshored its supply chains, hollowing out the middle class. Cities like Detroit became symbols of American decline, while China rose as the “world’s factory.” 6/13

The U.S. infrastructure crisis is glaring. Bridges crumble, airports rank low globally, and high-speed rail is a pipe dream. California’s rail project, plagued by delays and costs, epitomizes America’s dysfunction. 7/13

China’s military has also surged ahead. The PLA Navy is now the largest in the world, and its hypersonic missile program outpaces the U.S. The Pentagon is scrambling just to catch up. 8/13

In space, the contrast is stark. China’s Tiangong Space Station is modern and expanding, while the U.S. relies on the aging ISS, set to retire by 2030. China could soon dominate low-earth orbit. 9/13

China’s Beidou GPS system challenges U.S. satellite dominance. Offering high-precision navigation, it integrates with global partners, reducing reliance on American systems and extending China’s influence. 10/13

The U.S. spends over $800 billion annually on defense, yet much of it goes to outdated systems and inefficiencies. China, by contrast, invests strategically, focusing on tech and regional force projection. 11/13

The 2008 crisis exposed America’s reliance on financialization and short-term profits. China used the same crisis as a springboard for industrial dominance, proving the U.S. model unsustainable. 12/13
