Little known fact: NATO's hawkish Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg,
used to lead a youth party seeking to get Norway out of NATO.
Now he is for endless NATO expansionism, "humanitarian interventionism",
and is a firm believer in "more weapons is the path to peace".

Οι επιθέσεις του ΝΑΤΟ στη Γιουγκοσλαβία πριν από 24 χρόνια προκάλεσαν τον θάνατο του διεθνούς δικαίου, τόνισε ο πρόεδρος της Σερβίας Αλεξάνταρ Βούτσιτς σε ομιλία που εκφώνησε χθες Παρασκευή σε εκδήλωση μνήμης στην πόλη Σόμπορ, όπου το 1999 έπεσε η πρώτη βόμβα.

«Πριν από 24 χρόνια, το σύγχρονο διεθνές δίκαιο απεβίωσε και θα πρέπει να γνωρίζετε ότι δεν πρόκειται για μια ήσσονος σημασίας γραφειοκρατική διατύπωση, αλλά κάτι πολύ περισσότερο», είπε ο Βούτσιτς.

«Τίποτα χειρότερο δεν θα μπορούσε να συμβεί στον κόσμο από αυτό που συνέβη εδώ, σε μια μικρή χώρα που κρίθηκε ένοχη μόνο και μόνο επειδή επιδίωκε να λαμβάνει δικές της αποφάσεις και να είναι ελεύθερη. Ως εκ τούτου, δεν απευθύνθηκε στις δυνάμεις που κατέστρεψαν την παλαιά διεθνή τάξη το 1989/90 και δημιούργησαν μια νέα στην οποία μόνον εκείνες έχουν τον τελευταίο λόγο για όλα», ανέφερε ο σέρβος πρόεδρος.
