New York governor says a “new normal” will emerge after coronavirus

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the coronavirus has changed the state and society forever.
“I don't think we get back to normal. I think we get back or we get to a new normal,” Cuomo said. "...Our challenge is to make sure that transformation and that change is positive and not negative.”
Cuomo stressed that this pandemic is preparing us for the inevitable next disaster and how we respond to it.
“You will get knocked on your rear end. You will deal with pain. You will deal with death. You will deal with setback. You will deal with suffering. Question is, how do you get up?”
Cuomo said that there’s a lot to learn from this pandemic when it comes to tele-medicine, tele-education, local supplies and research.

A Las Vegas lawyer has filed a federal lawsuit seeking compensation from China for the financial carnage wrought by the coronavirus pandemic.
Eglet Adams is seeking a whopping $20 trillion.
The class action suit is on behalf of several small businesses.
The suit is targeting various organizations such as the People's Republic of China, the Wuhan city authority, several government ministries and health agencies.
It says various agencies conspired to cover up the seriousness of the virus outbreak 'in a campaign of misinformation and lies.'
"They engaged in a campaign of intimidating and arresting any Chinese doctors, scientists, attorneys and/or reporters who tried to alert the public about this dangerous 'new' coronavirus," it claims.
Adams says the lawsuit is not a frivolous one.
"China has trillions in assets here in the United States, so this judgment's collectible," he said.
The suit says over a million small businesses in the US have closed or had to downsize their operations.
"The PRC and the other defendants had a responsibility to its own citizens, the World Health Organization, and the international community, including the citizens and businesses of the US and those in the State of Nevada, to immediately disclose this."
Plaintiffs named in the complaint include a Las Vegas restaurant and a real estate firm.

Για άλλους λόγους όμως δεν μου αρέσει αυτό το tweet. Μάλλον κάποιοι κιτρινόκωλοι πάνε να φορτώσουν την ευθύνη για τον ιο αλλού και όσοι κατάλαβαν κατάλαβαν.
