Αν συνεχίζει να προκαλεί μέχρι τον Μάρτιο, θα γίνει σύνοδος τον Οκτώβριο όπου θα αποφασιστεί να προταθούν κυρώσεις οι οποίες θα συζητηθούν τον Απρίλιο του 2022.

THIRD DRAFT ON TURKEY
EU leaders are starting negotiations on a third draft of text on Turkey, after a 30-minute break, but things are not looking very promising and “there is no consensus at the moment,” a Greek official said.
No bilaterals on Turkey have taken place, the official added. According to an EU diplomat, before the break, Greece, Cyprus, France, Denmark and Austria spoke about Turkey, and Cyprus spoke twice. “Positions seem indeed very far,” said the diplomat.
But not all of these countries are hardliners as Vienna, for example, is fine with the current draft, said a second diplomat. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is also under increased pressure at home, as Greece's opposition parties are calling on him to reject the draft on Turkey, with main opposition leader Alexis Tsipras implying that the prime minister should exercise his right to veto.
“The EU cannot constitute a strong international player unless it protects its own member states and negotiates effectively with an important neighboring country, which hopes to join it,” Tsipras said in a Facebook post. “The Greek government must defend the interests of the Greek people and the sovereign rights of the country, with all the diplomatic means at its disposal.”

The third draft on Turkey includes new language on migration and Cyprus.
In the new version, seen by POLITICO, the EU “calls on Turkey for responsible management of migration flows and to step up efforts in the fight against migrant smuggler networks,” accommodating a Greek request.
The new language on Cyprus makes more explicit some points, like for example that “the European Council supports the speedy resumption of negotiations, under the auspices of the U.N, and remains fully committed to a comprehensive settlement of the Cyprus problem” and “it expects the same of Turkey.”
The language on sanctions remains almost the same, with some tweaks — such as that foreign policy chief Josep Borrell will have to present a report on the situation “in the region” and not only “in the Eastern Mediterranean” to decide next steps by March. His report would also have to include “the functioning of the Customs Union” between the EU and Turkey — a point that could be seen as balancing the harder language toward Ankara on migration and Cyprus.
