This is why we propose concrete measures to phase out old energy sources without causing major disruptions or creating energy poverty. We want to limit the lifetime of nuclear and coal plants, make renewable energy affordable to everyone and encourage investors, funds and cities to cut their financial ties with the fossil fuel sector by divesting. In order to meet the climate targets, we also need to increase energy efficiency and promote sustainable ways of transportation. We support more and better public transport and shared mobility (bike sharing, car sharing) that make us less dependent on motorised mobility
