IDF Discovers Command Room and Weapons in UNRWA Gaza Headquarters



The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on July 12 that Israeli commandos discovered a Hamas command room and weapons at the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza City, in a further example of the UN agency collaborating with or turning a blind eye to Gazan terrorists operating in their midst. The raid was part of the IDF 99th Infantry Division’s renewed operations in the western and southern neighborhoods of Gaza City, which began on July 8. After evacuating civilians, IDF troops engaged in battles with terrorists inside the compound, capturing Hamas operatives who attempted to flee, according to The Times of Israel.

According to the IDF, the command room was used to observe and plan operations against Israeli forces. Troops also found caches of weapons, including “drones, rockets, machine guns, mortars, explosives and grenades.” During scans of a university building near the UNRWA complex, troops also discovered an underground laboratory used for manufacturing explosives and weapons. An IDF operation targeting the same compound in February discovered a Hamas data center and a network of tunnels.

At the conference, 118 UN member states, signed a solidarity statement supporting UNRWA’s mission, advancing the contentious claim that “UNRWA is the backbone of all humanitarian response in Gaza” and “no organization can replace or substitute UNRWA’s capacity.” On July 4, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a letter to UNRWA and donor states calling for the agency to end the employment of 100 terrorist operatives that it identified as UNRWA employees. The list included the employees’ names and military IDs. An official told Fox News that the list was a “small fraction” of the terrorist operatives employed by the agency and that “the names of more employees will be sent in the future.”

Sixteen Donors Previously Suspended Funding
Israel previously identified at least 15 UNRWA employees who played a direct role in the October 7 massacre, resulting in the firing of several employees and the opening of an investigation on January 26. Shortly thereafter, 16 donor nations, including the United States, suspended donations to the agency, but most — except the United States, where legislation is in place to prevent the funding of UNRWA until March 2025 — have since reinstated their donations.

Εν το μεταξυ η Χαμας λεει οτι ο Ντιεφ ειναι ζωντανος. Βασικα ο IDF δολοφονησε 90 ατομα και χρησιμοποιησε ως δικαιολογια οτι δηθεν εκει ηταν ενας ηγετης της Χαμας. Ποιο αξιοπιστη η Χαμας απο τους δολοφονους που υποστηριζεις

Δεν εχει νοημα γιατι ο IDF θα τους σκοτωσει και τους 200 οτι και να κανουνε. Αυτη ειναι η πολιτικη του
