Something went unnoticed amidst the wandering Internet reports about the imminent start of an IDF operation in Lebanon: on June 24, a rocket test took place in Israel, which was very poorly reported in the local media.

People living near the Palmachim airbase recorded the launching of a missile from a military facility. Residents of Malta reported the flight and fall somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea. The distance was about 1700-1800 kilometers.

We looked up the available data on air and sea reservations and indeed found flight and movement restrictions in the area east of the island nation for just those dates.

Given the distance from Israel, the flight of Shavit radio reconnaissance planes (they always fly nearby when testing missiles), and the lack of media coverage, the Israelis must have been testing something serious.

According to an official report that was submitted to the U.S. Congress in 2004, it may be that with a payload of 1,000 kg the Jericho III gives Israel nuclear strike capabilities within the entire Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and almost all parts of North America, as well as large parts of South America and North Oceania. Η λογική λέει ότι μετά και τις πρόσφατες τοποθετήσεις του τρομπέτα στο ντιμπέι οι ισραηλινοί θα είναι ηλίθιοι αν δεν προσπαθήσουν να τρενάρουν τον πόλεμο στο λίβανο μέχρι ο τροπέτας να αναλάβει πόστο. Πολλά φυσικά μπορεί να αλλάξουν μέσα σε μερικούς μήνες αλλά δείχνει πολύ πιθανό αυτός ο στόχος να να γίνει κεντρικός στο σχεδιασμό του ισραήλ.

Από την άλλη η λογική λέει ότι η χεσμπολα (αλλά και η χαμάς) θα προσπαθήσει να να μην βρεθεί σε αυτή τη θέση.

H διπλωματική λύση που προτείνουν οι ΗΠΑ και το Ισραήλ αφορά την οικειοθελή αποχώρηση της Χεμπολάχ 30 χιλιόμετρα βόρεια των συνόρων.
Αυτό δεν πρόκειται να το δεχτεί η Χεζμπολάχ ιδίως αφού ο πόλεμος στη Γάζα συνεχίζεται. Άρα το μόνο που μένει είναι να δούμε πότε θα κάνουν
ντου οι Ισραηλινοί στο Λίβανο.

Οι Αμερικανοί λένε ότι δε θέλουν τον πόλεμο αλλά έχουν στείλει τα πλοία τους στα ανοιχτά του Λιβάνου. Υποτίθεται για να αποτρέψουν τον
πόλεμο αλλά δε μας λένε τι περιλαμβάνει η οποιαδήποτε ανατροπή. Αν για παράδειγμα ρίξουν πυραύλους πρώτοι οι Ισραηλινοί θα παρέμβουν
τα αμερικανικά πλοία για να βομβαρδίσουν το Ισραήλ?

Ως προς αυτό ακριβώς ήταν και το παραπάνω σχόλιό μου. Για τη σοβαρή πιθανότητα να προσπαθήσουν να τρενάρουν το ντου μέχρι να έρθει στην εξουσία το τρομπέτας.
